“We sustained wind damage on our roof and immediately contacted Liberty Mutual on 03/20/2023. It took about a week to receive a text message from the company that an agent was assigned to our claim case. By then we had already hired a roofer to put a tarp to prevent further damage, and asked a few roofing companies to give ** their assessment. Those estimates range from $16,000 to $24,000, at a minimum. Liberty Mutual sent an adjuster for inspection after three weeks, but the agent only approved $1,600 for our claim based on the result … It has been two months and we still can’t get the roof repair started. “They would like to patch our siding instead of replace. We have been customers for 20 years and only ever had one claim. The new siding looks new and the old siding is faded and stained. They refuse to listen or compromise at all. Every time I call they ask me to send them pictures, which I do. Then they say it doesn’t look so bad.
